SPIC MACAY

Bhavdiya Public School, Ayodhya, hosted a vibrant Rajasthani Folk Music Programme in association with SPIC MACAY on 14 September 2026. The programme began with a soulful Saraswati Vandana, followed by traditional welcome songs, mesmerizing Rajasthani folk dances, melodious folk songs, and captivating performances by renowned folk artist Ustad Bhungar Khan Ji and his team. Through traditional melodies and indigenous musical instruments, our students experienced the richness and diversity of India’s cultural heritage. The lively performances transformed the school campus into a beautiful celebration of Rajasthan’s colours, traditions, and folk spirit. The programme offered our students an enriching opportunity to connect with India’s diverse folk traditions and experience the beauty of our cultural heritage firsthand. A truly memorable, meaningful, and culturally enriching experience for our students and the entire school community!

Our students were treated to a captivating performance by Padmashree Geeta Mahalik, the esteemed Odissi dancer, who brought the stage to life with her grace and artistry. The ambiance, enhanced by the warm glow of lamplight, set the perfect backdrop for this cultural celebration. The event was followed by a heartfelt felicitation ceremony, elaborated Dance performance by our esteemed Guest ,and Vote of Thanks by the students on the behalf of BPS Family, where we honored Padmashree Geeta Mahalik for her contributions to the arts. All in all, Bhavdiya Public celebrated the beauty of Odissa and our cultural heritage.
